About Teesside Kitchen Fitters
About Teesside Kitchen Fitters. Teesside Kitchen Fitters helps homeowners in Teesside request quotes from independent local tradespeople, free. More than one may reply. We don't do the work ourselves, and we don't carry out formal checks.
Teesside homeowners get competitive, itemised kitchen quotes here, free and without obligation, through this free introduction service. Supply-only know-how included: Howdens, Wren, Wickes and Magnet kitchens fitted without the showroom markup.
Teesside Kitchen Fitters exists because kitchen pricing has a structural problem: the showrooms that design your kitchen are paid to sell you their cabinets, and their 'free fitting package' bundles a 30 to 40 per cent markup into a number you're not meant to unpack. The honest alternative has existed for years, buy supply-only, pay an independent fitter, but finding a fitter who surveys properly, quotes line by line and turns up when booked is the hard part. This site routes your enquiry to fitters who work that way.
How it works
Tell us about the kitchen: what you want done, roughly the room, postcode. The enquiry goes to independent local kitchen fitters covering your area, who survey properly, room measured, walls and floors checked, services mapped, layout talked through against how you cook, and come back with itemised figures: units, worktops, appliances, labour, plumbing, electrics and making good on separate lines, priced so you can compare them against any showroom package.
What a good quote looks like
- Real surveys: measured and checked in person, never priced from a photo guess.
- Itemised quotes: every element on its own line, so you can see where the money goes.
- Supply-only honesty: when Howdens beats Wren on your spec, you should hear it; when a £2,000 refurbishment beats a £10,000 rip-out, you should hear that too.
- Certified trades: Gas Safe for gas work, NICEIC for electrics, named on the quote.
- Realistic schedules: including the stone-templating week and how long you're without a sink.
Who is behind it
The site is run by , a Teesside company that connects homeowners with local trades across the conurbation. Quotes are free and without obligation; we may be paid a fee by the installer who handles your request, and you pay nothing for the service.
